Garo Paylan, the Armenian member of the Turkish parliament, informed that he visited the Saint Giragos Armenian church in Diyarbakir city.
“I examined the restoration works in our Saint Giragos Armenian Church in Diyarbakir,” Paylan wrote on Facebook.
The Saint Giragos Church was badly damaged during the Turkish-Kurdish clashes in Diyarbakir that began in late 2015. Its restoration, which started in 2019, is assisted also by the Turkish state.
