On July 6 there was an incident at the Holy See. The people who demand the resignation of Garegin II entered the Chancery of the Holy See. They demanded that Garegin II resign. During this incident a sensational thing became known. The protesters said that a rare relic, the Holy Spear, kept at the Holy See, has been sold.
It is known that there are five copies of the spear while the original is kept at the Holy See.
The chancellor Reverend Arshak said the Holy Spear has not been sold, only part of it was cut off and presented to a Russian mayor.
It is not clear which mayor it was, and why the Holy See, certainly not without the knowledge of the Catholicos, gave this precious, actually singular relic to a Russian mayor.
In fact, however, an outrageous fact is disclosed amid the incident in the Chancery no matter whether this relic was sold or given.
