During the visit to Armenia, representatives of Russian IPChain Association met with the Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II and discussed the development of Armenia’s blockchain infrastructure.

As IPChain President Andrey Krichevsky told TASS, the meeting was held in Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
“We discussed the possibilities of changing the development path of country’s economy, the transition from resource model to human capital economy, which envisages preservation of the national cultural heritage, along with the use of people’s knowledge and talents,” said Krichevsky.

He pointed out that the participants of the meeting highlighted the key role of the Church in the life of Armenian people.

“Garegin II blessed the projects aimed at the development of creative spheres and human capital, which we are currently implementing with our Armenian partners, as well as highly assessed the fact that they work for the sake of people’s welfare and protect the creator person,” said the President of the association.

The press service of IPChain reports that the President of the Federation of Intellectual Property Sergey Matveyev also took part in the meeting.

“It is very important for us that His Holiness intends to support the projects aimed at the development of human capital and the technological protection of results created by the efforts of talents and creative people. First of all, these are solutions based on IPChain blockchain infrastructure,” said Sergey Matveyev.
